Velidhu Island Resorts is situated in the North Ari Atoll of the Maldives and accessible via sea plane. The island has a ocean reef which is filled to the brim with marine life, and thus an ideal snorkelers & divers paradise. As your seaplane swoops down to the lagoon after a breath-taking journey of twenty minutes you see the island like a gem of green, enameled with a silver ring of sand, set in a sea of azure velvet. But the real delight is yet to come. It is the feel of the soft sugary white sand under your feet and the sound of little wavelets that lap its shores that makes your realize that you are really in a tropical paradise.

There are two types of accommodation, which are beach bungalows and water bungalows.

This is the island you need to come to, if you want to engage in Ocean filled activities during your entire holiday. The luscious reef nearby, as well as further well developed reefs further away, make this island a diver’s & snorkeller’s paradise. There is also a range of water sports activities available, including water skiing, wind surfing, wake boarding and catamarans.

The water bungalows at Veludhu Island Resort, Maldives, pier on the north west of the island leads you to world of your own removed from the rest of the island. It is quite and secluded and offers the freedom to enjoy your time in complete privacy. If you wish to enjoy the magnificent view of the sunrise from the comfort of your bed and glorious sunsets from your very own patio, this would be your choice. The twenty well appointed bungalows offer your private space of 800 sq ft, king sized beds, air-conditioning and a range of amenities including a well stocked min bar, satellite TV IDD telephone and host of in room and bathroom amenities. You are never far from nature here. As you sit in your patio, you can see the fish and rays pass by and when you are inside, the glass floor in your lounge gives you a close up view of the marine life right under your feet.
